Laurelwood at The Pinehills, a new assisted living community opening next year at The Pinehills of Plymouth, is seeking artwork from local artists to help decorate the interior of the community.
Located at the corner of Landmark and Golf Drives near the village green, Laurelwood will offer independent, assisted and memory-care living options. The design of the community will reflect the New England style architecture seen throughout The Pinehills with a gambrel roof and a warm, cottage style interior. The community will also feature patios, a theater room, pub, salon and many other amenities for residents. A walking trail will connect Laurelwood to the Village Green, Mirbeau Inn & Spa, and Village Racquet and Fitness Club.

“We want the interior design of Laurelwood to reflect both the serene and beautiful landscape of The Pinehills and the rich history of Plymouth,” said Jenna Wallin, Executive Director at Laurelwood. “This is a way for us to support the local arts community and to create an environment that is comfortable and homey for our residents, most of whom will be from the Plymouth area.”

Artists who have appropriate work and would like to present it for possible sale to Laurelwood should email samples tojryan@northbridgecos.com. All mediums will be considered.
Reservations are currently being accepted at Laurelwood, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2015. A sales office will open in The Pinehills in mid-June. Prior to that, interested parties can visit Stafford Hill Assisted Living Community (60 Stafford Street). Both Laurelwood and Stafford Hil are owned by The Northbridge Companies.
