Bag Sale on Black Friday at Christ Church Thrift Shoppe

The best Black Friday bargains can be found in the Fall and Winter Clothing Bag Sale at Christ Church Thrift Shoppe on Friday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Just fill a bag provided by the shop with warm, gently used clothing for only $5.

Also offered are small items of furniture, household goods, jewelry and the kinds of surprises that thrift shoppers love to find. Christ Church Thrift Shoppe will be decorated for the holiday season. Many seasonal decorations and new gift items will be for sale at great prices.

In addition, the shop will be open for a special Christmas Sale on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Featured will be holiday ornaments and decorations as well as a selection of new gifts at very low prices.

Christ Church Thrift Shoppe carries an eclectic mix of gently used clothing for women, men and children plus housewares, art, jewelry and the kinds of surprises that thrift shop aficionados love to discover. Proceeds help support the ministries of Christ Church and the needs of the greater Plymouth community.

Christ Church Thrift Shoppe is open Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located at 6 Lothrop St., in the 1830-vintage gray Hall House, across the driveway from Christ Church at 149 Court St.

Donations are always welcome and may be brought in during regular business hours. Seasonal clothing must be clean and in good or better condition. For more information, call the thrift shop at 508-746-4990.

            Located at 149 Court St. in Plymouth, Christ Church offers an informal service with contemporary music on Saturdays at 5 p.m. On Sundays, Rite I is celebrated at 8 a.m. and Rite II with music is held at 10 a.m. Church school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. Family Sunday is the first Sunday of each month September through May.
