All welcome to Church Supper at Christ Church on Jan. 18

The public is invited to an Old-Fashioned Church Supper on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 3 p.m. in the Parish Hall at Christ Church in Plymouth. A full menu with a main dish, vegetable, bread, salad, desert and beverage will be served – along with friendly fellowship. The entrée for this month’s meal is Hunter’s Chicken with Rice.

            Cost of the Old-Fashioned Church Supper at Christ Church is $6 per person or $15 per family (two adults with a maximum of three children under 10). This public meal is held on the third Saturday of each month from 3 to 4 p.m. through April so older people can take part. The start time shifts to 6 p.m. from May through October.

Christ Church is an Episcopal church in the Diocese of Massachusetts. Founded in 1844, Christ Church Parish is open to all people for prayer, worship and celebration of the Christian faith through the promotion of justice, peace, healing and love.

            Located at 149 Court St. in Plymouth, Christ Church offers an informal service with contemporary music on Saturdays at 5 p.m. On Sundays, Rite I is celebrated at 8 a.m. and Rite II with music is held at 10 a.m. Church school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. Family Sunday is the first Sunday of each month September through May. Rector is The Reverend David Fredrickson and Deacon is The Reverend Helen Trainor.
