Senior E-book Workshop, Writing for All Ages

Here are five things you need to know Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013.

1. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a high near 63, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a 30 percent chance of rain in the afternoon.

2. A workshop for seniors, called E-books 101 will be held at the Plymouth Public Library at 11 a.m. Thursday. Registration is necessary, but space is still open.

3. The Community Preservation will be in session Thursday evening at 7. The meeting will be held at the Plymouth Center for the Arts.

4. The Kid's Writing Club, a new creative writing group for children between 8 and 11 years old, will meet in the Plymouth Public Library's Children room Thursday at 4.

5. Writers are welcome to the Manomet Branch Library Thursday night at 7 for the Manomet Writers' Group. New members are welcome to share work with the group. No registration necessary.
