Spring may have started last week but when it comes to snow we aren't out of the woods yet. We start off the week with high temperatures Monday only in the upper 20s with some sunshine, and then the possibility of a storm as we get into Tuesday and Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says a significant and potentially dangerous coastal storm is possible Tuesday through Wednesday with the height of the storm centered around Wednesday morning for Southern New England.

While the specifics of this potential storm are still uncertain, the National Weather Services says it could bring heavy snow and strong to damaging northerly winds. High tide Wednesday morning could also bring the potential for flooding. Any subtle shift in the storm track will change outcomes significantly.

If we do get snow we’ll see the most of it on Wednesday morning. The highest confidence of significant impacts is over Southern New England.

WHDH, 7-News Meteorologist Chris Lambert said in his forecast Saturday night that there’s no question it’s going to be a powerful storm, the question lies in the way this storm tracks. Either way we will be getting some snow and some wind. If it shifts 100 miles to the west that means more snow over a larger area, 100 miles to the east and we won’t have much to worry about.
