Plymouth Selectmen, Entergy to Discuss Spent Fuel Storage

Here are five things you need to know Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013.

1. Tuesday will be partly sunny and gradually become clear, according to the National Weather Service. The high will be near 65.

2. The Plymouth Board of Selectmen will meet at Town Hall on Tuesday. The agenda for the 7 p.m. meeting is available here.

3. Part of the Selectmen meeting will be a joint session with the Nuclear Matters Committee during which Entergy, the owner and operator of Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, will make a presentation on spent fuel storage installation at Pilgrim Station.

4. Two scout troops will meet at the Plymouth Public Library on Tuesday evening. Girl scout troop 81264 will meet at 5 p.m. and Troop 80207 will meet at 6:30 p.m.

5. The Conservation Commission will also meet at Town Hall at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
