Plymouth North, Plymouth South Are Ready for Some Football

Here are five things you need to know Friday, Nov. 1.
1. Showers are likely Friday in Plymouth according to the National Weather Service. The precipitation is expected before 2 p.m.
2. The Plymouth South High School (No. 1) football team will host eighth-seeded Sharon for the Div. 3 Southeast Sectional quarterfinals at 7 p.m. Friday.
3. Plymouth North (No. 3) will also be on the gridiron at 7 p.m. Friday. North will welcome Nauset (No. 6).
4. The Insurance Advisory Committee will meet at 10 a.m. Friday at Plymouth Retirement Board, 10 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 240.
5. On Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of rain with a high around 64. On Sunday, there is a 50 percent chance of rain and a high near 50.
