NRC to Host Dry Cask Storage Webinar Thursday Afternoon

Here are five things you need to know Thursday, Dec. 12.
1. Thursday will be sunny with a high around 28 in Plymouth, according to the National Weather Service.
2. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will present a webinar about the planned dry cask storage of spent nuclear fuel at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant at 3 p.m., Thursday. Register online at www.nrc.gov.
3. The South Elementary School Council will meet at South Elementary School at 6 p.m. Thursday.
4. Plymouth Rotary Club Board will meet at the Plymouth Public Library at noon, Thursday.
5. Plymouths Community Preservation Committee will be in session on Thursday evening. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Plymouth Center for the Arts.
