Here are five things you need to know Tuesday, Oct. 1.

1. Tuesday will be sunny with a high near 73, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Concerned Neighbors of Pilgrim will host a community forum to discuss the “Dry Cask” Nuclear Waste Project at the Pilgrim Nuclear Station on Tuesday, Oct. 1. The meeting, which will start at 7:30 p.m., will be held at Cedarville Community Room, 2209 State Road.

3. The Plymouth Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Mayflower Hearing Room at Town Hall.

4. LiveLifeBelieve fitness center, 10 Cordage Park Suite 243, is hosting a first birthday open house Tuesday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

5. The Conservation Commission will also be in session Tuesday night. The commission will meet in Town Hall's Plantation Room, starting at 7.
