Free Concert Starts America's Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration

Here are five things you want to know Friday, Nov. 22.

1. There will be a 90 percent chance of rain in Plymouth Friday and a high around 52, according to the National Weather Service.

2. The America's Hometown Free Patriotic Concert, featuring performances by Rob Surette, Letters from Home and The Edwards Twins will be held at Plymouth Memorial Hall at 7 p.m. Friday.

3. Plymouth South High School will take on Stoughton on Friday, Nov. 22 in the MIAA state semifinal football game, at Brockton High School, at 7 p.m.

4. The First People Pavilion Cultural Arts Exhibit will be open at the Pilgrim Memorial State Park Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The exhibit will feature native music, arts, history and more.

5. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 47, according to the National Weather Service. On Sunday, the high will be around 35. There is a 30 percent chance of snow showers.
