'Deadly Diamonds' Author to Speak at Plymouth Library

Here are five things you need to know Friday, Oct. 25.
1. Friday will be sunny with a high around 51, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Author John Dobbyn will be at the Plymouth Public Library for a book talk and signing of his legal thriller, "Deadly Diomonds."
3. The 17th Annual Halloween Party Benefit is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. at Plymouth Memorial Hall. The party will benefit the scholarship fund in the name of Emily Anne Swartz.
4. The Plymouth Retirement Board will meet at 8 a.m. Friday. The meeting will take place at the Jordan Hospital Rehabilitation Center, 10 Cordage Park Circle.
5. Plymouth can expect a fall weather weekend, according to the National Weather Service. Saturday will be sunny with a high of 51. Sunday will be partly sunny with a high near 56.
