5 Things: Summer Leaf Walk, Conservation Meeting

5 Things is a daily snapshot roundup of information on events, happenings and other news in town.

1. A summer leaf walk will be held at Myles Standish State Forest today from 2 to 3 p.m. The all-ages event will include a scavenger hunt and leaf rubbings. The walk will leave from 194 Cranberry Road, South Carver.

2. The Conservation Commission will meet in the Town Hall Plantation Meeting Room tonight at 7.

3.  The Council on Aging will hold a full slate of activities today including Jazz Exercise class at 9 a.m., Basic Drawing at 12:30 p.m. and the COA Bookworms at 1:30 p.m.

4. Plimouth Plantation will host a Native Drumming and Singing demonstration at 2 p.m. today. The show in the Visitor Center Courtyard is free with admission.
