Hernon Romero Concert & Art Show
ARTIST Exposure brings world-renowned Grammy award winner ROMERO to Memorial Hall, Plymouth, MA. ROMERO brings his musical messages to a wider audience by cleverly blending stellar world rhythms with inventive woodwinds, strings, percussion, and vocals. ROMERO, who is a native of Argentina but was raised in southern Spain, has unified classical, flamenco, Middle Eastern and several world beat rhythms. See Romero’s improvisational twists and eloquent string virtuosity.
He will perform with Carmen Estevez (cajon & vocals), Sean Kupisz (cajon & bass), also featuring special guests: Kestutis Vaiginis (sax & flute) and Flameco dancer.
Tickets are $20 for general admission. The concert begins at 4:00pm but we will open the doors at 2:00pm so that you may view the art show. This is included with your ticket price.
More About Plymouth Memorial Hall
Plymouth Memorial Hall is dedicated to Plymouth's war veterans. The hall was built in 1921 and has been used for town meetings, proms, graduations, concerts, basketball and many other uses. It is the home of the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra. The main hall seats up to 1,500 people and offers handicapped accessibility. The Blue Room (upstairs) is used for plays, private parties, dances and other receptions. The American Legion History Room in Memorial Hall contains articles from most wars and uniforms of local service people who gave their lives. It is open to the public the 1st and 3rd Fridays and the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month from noon to 4pm. It is also open Memorial Day and Veterans' Day. The VFW also has a room in Memorial Hall.
