On May 2 2011 I set out on a 350 mile journey from New York City through the Palisade, Shawangunk, and Catskill Mountains to the gateway of the Adirondacks on the New York Long Path.  This film chronicles my travels through the beautiful lands of eastern and central New York State and is entitled "New York Long Path: The Trail Less Traveled".

This first episode catalogues my trip through the Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey and Harriman State Park in New York.  Mixed weather as well as some surprisingly fantastic vistas highlight this section.  More information is available on my website www.TrekkingOn.com .
