Snowbound? Make Snow Ice Cream!
When life hands you lemons you make lemonade, when life hands you a blizzard, make snow ice cream.
There are a couple of recipes for snow ice cream, but I perfer the version made with condensed milk.
Here are two recipes.
Ingredients
- 8 cups snow, or shaved ice
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Place snow or shaved ice into a large bowl. Pour condensed milk over and add vanilla. Mix to combine. Serve immediately in bowls.

The Pilgrim Nuclear Station lost power and was in a state of emergency, no one should be eating the snow, especially children.
Nuclear stations vent radiation all the time, no one should eat the snow anywhere around a nuclear plant even when it is not in a state of emergency.
Please pull this story, it could cause harm to the children of Plymouth.

I don't live anywhere near snow now, but I grew up in Southeast Arkansas where it snows every winter. My Momma used to make snow ice cream and it was the most awesome part of coming in out of the weather! Her recipe was similar to Paula Dean's. If you haven't before, you should try it! Just reading about it brought such great memories of home!

It matters not the color of the snow; don't eat any of it!
