Samoset Street Business Posts Anti-Warren Sign Ridiculing 'Princess Little Big Liar'
A Plymouth business owner has posted a Scott Brown campaign sign depicting Elizabeth Warren in an Indian headdress and face paint.
A Samoset Street business owner has posted a sign depicting Elizabeth Warren in an Indian headdress and face paint on his business's front lawn.
The sign, located in front of Prime Automation, Inc. at 66 Samoset St., states: "Elizabeth Warren is a joke. Princess Little Big Liar. Vote Scott Brown United States Senate." criticizing the U.S. Senate candidate for her claimed Cherokee and Dakota heritage.
It's a replica of a sign seen at a Hanson business that has received flack over it and a sign featuring a young girl giving the middle finger to President Barack Obama, while urging voters to elect former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
Last week, Scott Brown's campaign was criticized video surfaced of staffers making war whoops and tomohawk chops at a Warren rally. Brown's campaign has been playing up Warren's Native American heritage controversy over the past few weeks, both in television ads and in the first debate between the two candidates.
According to United Press International, Brown chastized his campaign staffers as he took fire from tribal leaders and others:
Brown said he "regrets" the "unacceptable" behavior by those who took part, including members of his staff.
"Senator Brown has spoken to his entire staff -- including the individuals involved in this unacceptable behavior -- and issued them their one and only warning that this type of conduct will not be tolerated," Brown spokeswoman Alleigh Marre said.
What do you think of the sign? Is it acceptable as a campaign sign?
