james a carroll is my brother.he has struggled with mental illness for his entire life. This charge is result of rushing patients from inpatient to outpatient treatment.james was just in pembroke hospital where he told them he didnt feel safe and was gonna hurt himself or someone else.they then still chose to discharge him and put him in outpatient treatment.his mental.illness is thr main.reason for his homelessness also why he needed a higher level of care cuz left to his own he doesnt always take his meds and the result this time is tragic.Hopefully he will now get the help he needs but mental health treatment not prison time
