Plymouth man charged with negligent driving

Kyle W. Beard, 25, of 3B Marc Drive, Apt. 1, Plymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle while sending or receiving an electronic message. The case was continued to Oct. 4. The charges stem from a Dec. 20, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 5:50 p.m. when two motorcycle police officers on patrol on Commercial Street encountered a gray Jeep Cherokee that suddenly crossed the center line into northbound traffic. One of the officers said he was forced to turn sharply to the right to avoid the vehicle striking him head on. Police said they stopped Beard's vehicle and noticed a cell phone in his lap. Beard allegedly told police the phone began ringing and he looked at it when the incident happened, according to the police incident report.

Plymouth man arraigned on traffic charges

Corey M. Cusick, 35, of 1B Marc Drive, Apt. 4, Plymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of driving with license suspended and a motor vehicle lights violation. The case was continued to Oct. 3. The charges stem from a Dec. 31, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 2:22 p.m. when police noticed a black BMW with a defective brake light stopped on Washington Street at the Main Street intersection.

Plymouth woman charged with unregistered, uninsured driving

Michele E. Forry, 29,  of 685 Rocky Hill Road, Plymouth was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of driving an uninsured vehicle, driving with registration suspended, and driving an unregistered vehicle. The case was continued to Oct. 1. The charges stem from a Dec. 1, 2011 incident in Weymouth at 11:10 p.m. when police noticed a Chevrolet S10 pickup truck with an expired registration sticker traveling on Pleasant Street.
