Plymouth Captain's Gun Recovered
A gun left in a Wareham court bathroom has been recovered.
A service weapon belonging to a Plymouth police officer that was lost last week has been recovered.
Plymouth Police Captain John Rogers accidentally left his Smith and Wesson.357 revolver in the bathroom at Wareham District Court around 3 p.m. Jan. 28 when he returned, the gun was gone.
The courthouse was immediately locked down as Wareham Police and court officers searched for the weapon.
Police aren't saying just how the gun was tracked down, but do not plan to file any criminal charges and say the case is closed. The gun was recovered around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 30.

Ok .....i dont take my purse off my shoulder ..and the only serious thing in it is my lipstick & debit card ...why would you take off your gun ...stalls have hooks ...dude hang it up ....something not right ..glad it was found ...no harm no fowl ? ...
