Dear Editor:

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my support for my friend and former State House colleague, U.S. Senator Scott Brown, in his bid for reelection on Tuesday, November 6. 

I had the privilege of working with Scott for 11 years in the Massachusetts state legislature where he was recognized as a tireless advocate for taxpayers, small businesses, crime victims, veterans, and our military. 

Since being elected to the U.S. Senate in January 2010, Senator Brown has been an independent voice for Massachusetts, and he has been rated the least partisan U.S. Senator.  During the past more than 2 1/2 years, he has worked to support and promote legislation to get our economy moving again. 

Senator Brown is committed to opposing tax increases on any American and to advocate for regulatory and tax certainty for businesses so that they can grow and create new jobs.  He has stood against out of control government spending, and he has worked with senators on both sides of the aisle to pass important bipartisan legislation to ban insider trading and reform Wall Street. 

As he continues to demonstrate, Senator Brown has the ideological independence, experience, dedication, and proven commitment to the people of Massachusetts which make him an outstanding U.S. Senator.  Please join me in voting to reelect Senator Scott Brown on Election Day.
