High Winds, Coastal Flooding Expected Thursday Morning

Plymouth may not get snow, but expect rain, high winds and minor coastal flooding today.

While much of New England is dealing with snow today, Plymouth is getting rain today, all day.

But that doesn't mean we nessesarily lucked out. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning today until 11 a.m., with an east wind of 24 to 24 miles per hour and gusts as high as 47 mph.

New precipitation amounts could be as high as half an inch. Rain could turn to snow Thursday night before gradually clearing after midnight.

The NWS has also issued a coastal flood advisory with some splash over from east-facing beaches from 8 a.m. to noon today.
