Democrat Tom Calter has defeated Republican Debra Betz for a third term representing the 12th Plymouth District in the state House of Representatives.
The race was never close, not even in Betz's home base of Plymouth. Calter was first elected in 2006, when he ran a write-in campaign after former State Rep. Tom O'Brien decided to step down in order to take a position as Plymouth County Treasurer.
Here are the results according to the Associated Press, as of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
