Rockland Trust Thanks Customers with Chance to Win a Silver Ticket

  • December 4, 2012

Rockland Trust today announced it is hosting customer appreciation events Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8 to thank customers for their business and for helping Rockland Trust being named as “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Retail Banking in the New England Region” in 2012 by J.D. Power and Associates.  Rockland Trust customers and prospective customers are invited to the celebration, which will take place in all Rockland Trust branches during normal business hours, including both Plymouth locations on Pilgrim Hill Road and Long Pond Road.

During the appreciation event, Rockland Trust will give away chocolate bars at all branches to the first 25,000 customers, with one chocolate bar per person. 25 of the bars will include a “winning silver ticket” entitling the recipient to win a prize.  The prizes include iPads (five prizes), $200 Stop and Shop gift cards (five prizes), and $50 gas cards (15 prizes).

“We wouldn’t have received this recognition without the support of our customers.  This is our way of recognizing, celebrating, and thanking them for helping Rockland Trust achieve this tremendous accomplishment,” said Chris Oddleifson, President and CEO of Rockland Trust.  “Each and every relationship with our customers is important to us and we’re pleased to extend our gratitude to them for choosing to bank with Rockland Trust.”

J.D. Power and Associates seventh annual U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study surveyed more than 50,000 retail banking customers about their experiences with their primary bank.  The study asked participants to provide customer satisfaction feedback based on the following factors: account information, facility, problem resolution, and product offerings.
