The Plymouth Guild for the Arts is a volunteer organization with many opportunities for new volunteers.
The Guild is seeking volunteers to help maintain the Guild's home at the Plymouth Center for the Arts at 11 North St., help with the annual Juried Show and Downtown Art Stroll, staff the galleries, prepare food or refreshments for gallery shows, help with art show registration, set up standards and decorations for shows, hang artwork, breaking down shows, public relations and marketing (including mailers, advertising, radio, TV and Internet marketing), conduct workshops or lectures, and assist with locating judges, guest speakers and visiting artists.
Gallery sitters enjoy free studio space while they mind the gallery.
